Banana Republic Women Jeans

How is the Banana Republic Modern fit different from their Classic fit?

Last month I bought a pair of BR women's Classic Straight black jeans which fit me perfectly. Of course, there is now exactly one type of Classic straight-leg women's jeans on their site, but tons of Modern.

Like a teeny less than an inch/ I like BR but they are experts at marketing (worked there). Size zeros and the like? Like any excellent pant always try it on if you can. On line be sure you can return them easily. I would go to the local store first to compare.
