Athletic School Information?

Alright, I'm in 9th grade and live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am a really huge skier. I pretty much ski 50/50 when it comes to freestyle and alpine skiing. I am really trying to push myself to exceed in the sport and make the US ski team. But what I was wondering is what is Burke Academy like? I have only been to Vermont once and loved it. I have talked with my parents and am plotting to take a trip out there this winter. I am currently in advanced math, science, and history classes. I have naturally leadership skills and discipline myself to train everyday and be the top shape I can. So whats BMA like (housing, academics, life in generally) and do you reckon I make a excellent canidate for applying? thanks

I applaud a young person thinking about their future, that is very rare these days. I don't know about the BMA, but if you want to ski and want to make the US Ski Team, I would stay where you are until you go to college and either stay in Salt Lake, or try the University of Nevada, Reno. Both have fantastic skiing and strong links to the US Ski Team. You would also be close to or at home, which will make many things much simpler for you as you work through school.
